Let’s talk about one of Picky’s shining stars—Aana! She’s our super-talented Content Creator and Marketing Intern with an INFJ personality, known for her creative flair and calm demeanor. From whipping up viral content to cooking up complicated Indian dishes, Aana is a multi-talented force to be reckoned with.
Aana hails from India and brings a unique blend of creativity and strategic thinking to the table. With a background as a fashion designer, content creator, and freelance social media marketer, she’s no stranger to storytelling through visuals and words.
Currently, she’s balancing life as a full-time student, part-time designer, and content creator. She’s been in Korea for two years and four months—and yes, she’s still discovering new things every day!
What Brought Aana to Korea? 🇰🇷
Hanboks! Aana’s fascination for hanboks inspired her move to Korea. She found it difficult to access resources to learn about this traditional garment back in India, and most Korean websites weren’t up to date. She believed the best way to understand a culture and its traditions was to live in it.
Another reason? She learned Korean very quickly and had the chance to work with the Korea Tourism Organization three times between 2021 and 2022 to promote hanboks in India. During this time, she even created nine hanboks for them! Everything fell into place so fast that it felt like destiny—so she made the leap and moved to Korea.
What Did Aana Do Before Coming to Korea? 💼
Aana’s resume is as diverse as it is impressive!
She studied Korean during this period and created fashion content for her own Instagram page.
- After graduating from fashion school in 2019, she worked as a model, actor, and stylist in Bollywood for a short while (2019–2020).
- From 2020 to 2022, she freelanced as a social media strategist and manager for three fashion brands in India. One of those brands also had her working as a designer and stylist.
- She studied Korean during this period and created fashion content for her own Instagram page.

Aana’s mission at Picky is to keep ideas flowing, film and edit at lightning speed, and, most importantly, keep her boss Victoria smiling!
Big Wins So Far 🌟
Her biggest contribution? Creating a viral TikTok video guessing our CEO’s real voice, racking up over 1 million views!

In just two months, Aana has already grown so much:
- She went from knowing little about skincare to confidently understanding products and routines, all thanks to Picky!
- Through content ideation for different brands and products, she’s gained in-depth knowledge of the K-beauty industry.
- She’s sharpened her creative skills, becoming faster and more efficient at turning ideas into high-quality content.
- Teamwork and responsibility have also been huge personal growth areas for her.
